Confused Need help

I am new to this site so hopefully I'm doing this right. I need some help with my 02 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 Magnum. I recently blew the motor up. So I decided to swap the motor out of my 2000 Dodge Dakota 5.9 into my Ram 1500. Everything went smoothly except for the fact that the Dakota engine only had three bolt motor mounts and the ram took for boat motor mounts but got it to work. But now when I start it it fires up then shuts off. will not stay running at all. Any help would be much appreciated

You need to start by checking for codes. Cycle the key on, off, on, off, on the digital odometer should show your codes. Will be something like P0300 for example.
