I got a 95 Reg Cab 3.9-V6 Dodge Ram a while back and now I think is the time to do something with it. As all of you know the 4.7 liter V8 in the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dakota just might be the best new engine on the DC Market. My thing is that I want this engine, BAD! The Kenne Bell Grand Cherokee Unlimited with this engine pumps out 325 hp and eats the 1/4 mile in someting like 14.2 secs (Motor Trend Sez) So I know this engine has awesome potential. But do you guys think it could work in a 95 Ram?
What I want it to totally revamp this Ram with the new 4.7 liter engine. New 4 speed tranny , and dual exhaust. What I need to know is . . . would this engine work this engine and what steps need to be taken to pull this off. Has this been done yet? Would it kick plenty of ass if it was done? Or should I just wait till the Next Ram comes with a 4.7 already installed? |

I'd wait.
For starters you will need a donor vehicle for the complete wiring harness computer engine etc. Huge job, not for the average wrencher. Just my 2 cents. ------------------ 70 challenger r/t conv 98 V-10 Q/C SWB 4X4 72 383 swinger |
