Question

Hi, I am trying to find a place that has Flowmasters but with no luck in my area. I am looking for a 40 Series 2 chamber, 2 1/2" single inlet, 2 1/2" dual outlet muffler WITHOUT the deltaflow technology.

Do they cost around $40 for the muffler, where can I get one ?

You can try Summit or truckperformance.com. I've had a hard time finding my 50 SUV for my new truck. I found a local shop that carried 40 & 50's. Cost about $80 installed.

Cool

Try ramchargers.com. Ramchargers is a local parts supplier here is southeast lower Michigan. I got my 3" in/out Series 40 from them for $60. Its not the delta flow technology either. Just to let you know though, that in the near future Flowmaster will be going to that technology. This is what the sales rep at Ramchargers told me anyway.

Also try Muffler House 1-800-276-6399. They seem to have a large inventory of Flowmaster. I was able to find a 50 Series SUV muffler through them when nobody else had one. Price was reasonable.

Yeah I ordered my Flowmaster (should be here tomorrow or Monday) and they said that it comes with a lifetime warranty through the factory! So my worries about replacing it in a few years are at ease....... I ordered it (part #425400) from the Muffler House.
