Ok, a supercharger, along with a non-functional ram-air hood(non-functoinal because s/c comes with cold air ind.) are 2 definate mods I am doing this summer and I want to know which supercharger to get. They have so many different brands out there. Which one/s is/are reliable. I was going to lean toward an 8psi pulley also. Links to superchargers with descriptions will help also. I have also seen people selling used s/c's with ignition accessories and even a performance comp. especially designed for the s/c(ATI) Oh yea, 1.7 rockers will be in this summer to. Waiting for my 2001 Performance Catalog I order on Feb. 28 to come in. Thanks in advance!!!

I along with a few others have had great luck with running Powerdyne on our daily drivers. There are also others out there that run some of the other brands with success. You also need to look at the installation. Some are bolt on like the powerdyne. Others require you tap into your oil system. Any way you go you will not be disappointed. Just take a look at what all you're getting into and how much you want to spend.
Take a look at the classified ads on here. I've seen a setup with ingition and lots of other goodies for a good price. The offering price is just worth the s/c alone. So it's like 'buy this s/c and get these goodies free'. I personaly found my setup and other goodies on e-bay for $1500. |

I went with the Paxton Novi 2000 blower, and was very impressed with the extra performance that it gave me. I have put about five thousand miles on my supercharger since i bought it and the only problem i had was a defective idle control arm, which paxton payed for. As far as gas mileage goes you should not believe any of the companies when they say you are going to get better gas mileage because for the most part it goes down, but if you want the performance you are going to have to deal with bad gas mileage.
