diesel hop-up

Hey Guys,
I'm not much of a truck guy, but I have a buddy who asked me to ask you guys about his. It's a '00 Ram 2500 with a diesel that some joker in a honda was nice enough to crunch the left bed side already. He's going to graft in a hidden tool box in the lower portion of the bed, but his question is how to get that diesel moving quicker. Any ideas and possibly part numbers would be bitchin'. Thanks ahead of time.

I've seen some diesels that surprised me and absoluetly tore up some tires !


they make a 4" exhaust - you can get a "blue box" computer, you can swap in bigger injectors and a cam plate, bump up the fuel pump, bump in a new Turbine Housing - lots of stuff !

Do some browsing over at www.turbodieselregister.com for some ideas on "bombing" his truck.

Some are making 600hp and over 1,000lbs of torque out of their cummins.

The weak link is either the clutch, or the crappy auto trans.
