Corey, good question Well, here it goes (I'll try to keep it short)....

Back in May I decided to get a new truck because I had mine 5 years and she had some miles on her. It was time to get a new one. The trouble was I did not want to get the redesigned one yet, mainly due to the fact that I usually wait 'bout 2 or 3 years for them to get the bugs worked, so to say. So, I went and ordered a new 2500 V10. A day later, I was waiting at the deal-ership to finish up some paperwork, and started looking at the Durangos. I said to myself what the hell, I pretty much done the Ram thing already, lets try something a little more unique. So, I changed my mind and ordered a Durango. I figured that I really have not seen to many lifted "D's", so it would be kool. Now for the RT. Well, I liked the 2 tone suede/leather interior of the RT. Thats it, plain and simple. Don't really need or care 'bout the badging.......

Funny though, after I ordered her, I found out that none of the suspension kits on the market work on the 00 and 01 due to changes (rack and pinion)....So now I pretty much have it as high as I can go and have to wait for someone to make a kit for it. She will get higher and I will be stuffing 35's in place of those 33's sooner or later.

Bottom line, I'll have this puppy for about another 2 years, then back to the new Rams when the Hemi's arrive. The process starts again! MOPAR BABY!!!

Post If they paint it, people will come.

If Dodge (& the rest of Chrysler) wanted to make a lot of sales, they'd make an America themed paint scheme available. I wouldn't mind having one even if it cost more. And before the 911 tragedy happened, I still would have wanted an America themed pain job.
