Default Virginia at last.....

Made it to Virginia a couple of weeks ago...too bad my household stuff didnt make it till yesterday. No computer, no pots and pans etc...lousy time.

Anyway..heres my 1500 mile road test results.....

Truck ran good overall....Best gas miliage was 16.7, average speed was 75mph...no load.
Truck has alot throatier sound than my 2000..I really believe they changed the exhaust on them...havent looked.
Steering is looser than the 2000..not as responsive. Brakes are better though.
Tranny sucks..plain and simple. Going up hills, it will take forever to shift out of OD!!! I had to turn OD off alot..my 2000 never even slightly had that problem.....
BUT...the truck has come around some since I bought it. I am pleased. Nice low end, will "burn" tires at will, even on new asphalt.....
This is some of the more obvious things I noticed since I went straight from a 2000 into a 2001...just so you know....John
