Got home tonight to find a new '02 Ram 1500, black, 4 door, 4x4, sport....parked in my garage. Leather interior. 5.9. Auto. Loaded out, complete with the 20" wheels that I absolutely hate.
Why was this in my garage you ask? Sitting in the parking space reserved for my mud-coated '01! Well, apparently this is my 'ol mans new company car and he just had to bring it over and show it to me. What I couldn't believe is that the top of the cab was just as high as mine. The top of the cab of that truck and mine were exactly the same hieght. I know, because I can barely fit into the garage, got about 1" to spare, and this one had about the same 1" of clearance, no more. |

lol, yeah 20" are real nice
![]() neale - yeah these new rams are big dude. I looked at them at a dealership one time, they had a row of the new 1500's parked next to a row of new 2002 3/4 tons. These new rams were sitting just as high as the current style 3/4 tons. Also I read somewhere that these new rams sit nose to nose with a ford superduty. Imagine what the 3/4 tons will sit like with a live front axle! I cant wait to see them! |
