Question Questions??

Is there anyway to turn down the idle on my 5.9 because i think 600 is alittle low and 700 to 750 is were it sould be at. Also will the 5bolt valve covers fit on the Magnum 5.9 as well?

There is an adjustment on the throttle body where the accelerator cable attaches. It is a hex screw which is sealed. You will need to remove the seal which is pressed in to gain access to the screw. The hex screw will increase RPM by turning clockwise and open up the throttle blades, but be careful, as this adjustment is very sensitive.

You cannot adjust idle on a fuel injected vehicle as this is computer controlled.

What year are you dealing with??

Thankyou six pack now I don't have to say it. You will screw up the throttle body minimum air flow if you adjust this and this can lead to stalling and all kinds of eratic idle characteristics.

Thanks for all the input guys. I did adjust that screw on the TB and the idle did pick up to about 700 and there was a slight surge at frist but it seems to have gone away. My engines sounds beefer at idle now and it does not hesitade if i full throttle it from idle.
