Rebuild
I've decided that it is time to rebuild my 5.2. Here is what I have planned: bored .030, r/t heads, r/t cam, m1 intake, new holley throttle body, forged pistons (9.5 to 1), transmission rebuild with Transgo shift kit, rear end rebuild with 3.92's and posi. Tell me if you think I need anything else.

id say : first off email me and get this kit off of me soon. $35 and its yours like you stated. 2nd: new valve springs, valves (3 or 5 angle job done to them ) retainers, locks , seals. pistons are a good choice but make sure the clearences are tolerable. have them come up to the deck pretty good. (hopefully better then they do stock wise) that should help your c.r. since it will be apart, now would be a good time to work that suspension too, and the brakes. going to be quicker no doubt, but you want it to stop decent. get a good set of slotted rotors and do a rear disc convertion. that is of course if the wallet allows it. just my $.02 jim realdeal7369@aol.com |
