Default 70 Challenger

Great car and had a lot of fun in it, but, I need something a littler less wild, maybe a big boat of a convertible for Sunday drives?...

340 engine, 30 thou over-bored
2 x 625 cfm Carter AFB's
Offenhauser tunnel ram
X-heads
Headers
A-833 4 speed tranny with pistol grip shifter.
8-3/4 3.91 rear end

Fiberglass front fenders
4 point roll cage

All glass is good, the body has rust, and most of the floor pans should be replaced.

Asking US$3000, or, CAN$4500.

I'd really like to sell before winter, or else, it's staying outside with the snow.

E-mail me for more pics.

Default Ok fine!

I'm going to replace the floor boards and patch up the frame myself over the winter, and put it up for sale AGAIN in the spring for TWICE the price!

I have a boat Ill trade ya

Hey Madman!
would you be interested in an 86 5th Ave w/ no rust? It has a 360/727/8.25" 3.55:1
360 is .060" over 10.5:1 comp, fully ported/polished "J" heads, Wiend dual plane Action plus intake (gasket matched of course) 800cfm Q-jet. .509" lift 292 dur MPP hyd cam. Headman headers w/ 2.5" exhaust all the way out. HP level somwhere between 400-425. Did I mention that the car is loaded with power everything?
727 i rebuilt myself, shifts very well.
rear end is out of a van, so its a little wide.
the only thing this car really needs is a rear end out of a diplomat cop car to set it back down where it needs to be. It certainly gets alot of attention and is very fast for a 3800lb car. I have not had it to the track yet. but I am guessing it will run mid 13's like it is. With the right rearend, it could turn 12's or better.
5th.
P.S. I will attach pics when I get home from work

Default Sounds interesting, but,.....

.... I don't think the local law enforcement would take too kindly to the size of that rear-end!

Default As seen on CARSINBARNS.COM!

Isn't nice when you see people stopping by to take pictures of your car? Isn't it nice of them to submit it to carsinbarns.com with misleading information? Have a look at the link and go to the bottom picture on that page:

http://carsinbarns.com/moparsinbarns/pg163.html

I pretty sure this picture was taken a few months after I purchased the car because new houses have been built since then on the lot shown in the picture. The gravel driveway in the forefront of the picture leads to my workshop which was nearing construction at the time. So, "...empty lot..." my a$$!!!!

There's my fifteen minutes of fame!

Funny how time flies... a few months has magically turned into a few years! I guess they're using internet time.

Amazing what people will do to get their name in print - the only thing is, I don't see where the submitter even got listed. Pathetic.

Default Hmmmm.... Isn't that a FORD!!!!!

Wow, oh jeez, oh my, huh huh.... yeah, yeah, yeah, hmmmm.....

Unfortunately, The Challenger is in my workshop right now partially stripped down and in the process of being re-built in time for the summer. When it's done, keep your eyes on this forum and I'll probably re-list it. But please, don't ask me to trade it for a Ford...... Unless it's a Pantera......

Default Well, let's see....

.... first, give me an e-mail address where I can send you many photos of what the car looked like last summer to start off with. Second, I'd like to remind you that I'm in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and that there's a foot and a half of snow in the 30 foot long driveway in front of my workshop. And third, because of my location and yours, you'd be better off getting something "rust-free" from Arizona.

Now, if after all this you still desperately want to buy my car let me know.

I also got a car from Canada, so I know what to expect, the 73 Torino I mentioned in an earlier post came from Canada also.

Default Car is almost ready!!!

The restoration is halfway done. I need to put on some new paint, do some engine work and by the end of May it will be ready to go to the highest bidder!
