Default R5 P7 motor in 72 charger

i am looking for some advice on transmissions. I have a 72 dodge charger that i am going to install a r5 p7 motor in and am looking for some suggestions on bellhousing/clutch/transmission ideas to run? I would like to run a mopar manual tranmission but am not limiting myself to only mopar so if anybody has any ideas or suggestions on different combinations, i would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Monte
