Default kickdown cable vs. kickdown linkage for 440-6 pack

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with kickdown cable on a 440-6 pack to a 727 tranny on a cuda. It seems if the Lokar cable would work, it would solve a lot of headaches finding linkage for a non-numbers matching restoration.

In order for the cable to work there has to be an extension on the bottom of the carb throttle lever to pull the cable; I think you'll find the factory Holley lacks this extension.

I'm sure some sort of extension could be fabricated, keep in mind that you want the travel of the carb lever to closely match the travel of the trans lever.

I believe the term is Throttle Pressure Linkage.
