Unhappy discontinued cars

I know that Chrysler is killing off four cars. I am glad the crossfire is gone but I really hate to see the magnum go. Is chrysler killing it off now or are they going to build it in 08? I like the updated look of the 08 front end. I have always liked wagons. I was trying to save up my pennies to buy a new on in the future.

From what I gather, they arent totally killing the magnum, it will become a 300 wagon. They are making the 08 and they wont stop production until after the 08s are built.

Hmmm... They didn't list the 300 wagon as being an addition to the line up.

The vehicles that will be discontinued are the Dodge Magnum, the convertible version of the Chrysler P T Cruiser, the Chrysler Pacifica crossover and the Chrysler Crossfire roadster and hatchback. The company has also confirmed that four forthcoming vehicles are still on track for launch: the Dodge Journey crossover and Dodge Challenger coupe, plus the Chrysler Aspen Hybrid and Dodge Durango Hybrid SUVs.

I hate to see the Magnum go. but, at least they are still on track for the Challenger.

I am glad the challenger is still a go. I hope they will build one that mere mortals like myself can afford.

You are way too funny. Forget about buying the '08 as it is supposed to be a 392 anniversary edition. The '09 will have the rest of the engines.

I do agree that the styling of some of the cars is way off. I feel like it would only take some minor restyling to make some of the cars more palatable. Chrysler had the "love it or hate it" thing going on with their desgins. It worked with the previous generation ram but I think more people hate chrysler's new styling than love it. Just my opion.

Seems to be a forgotten word at Ma Mopar. The new Sebring and Avenger are beautiful cars, and I've seen several here. Now, look at the ads Chevrolet is running on the new Malibu. THAT is how to sell a new model!

I disagree. I have a DVR (like a growing number of people), so I rarely see commercials. I just skip right through them. As the number of DVRs grow, commercials become a waste of money. Of course, the broadcaster has to come up with a new way to make money.

I don't care too much for the front end styling on the Sebring, but I do love the look of the Avenger and Malibu. You're right on the new commercials too! I'm not too sure what's funnier the jogger running to the parked Olds that shared the first gen FWD Malibu's body, the Cops completely missing the same Olds while full of bank robbers infront of the robbed bank, or the Camery cowering in the corner of it's bedroom hiding from the Malibu while showing magazine reviews
