Default rear end swap

i am wondering if a rear end from a 1990 ram 3500 will swap into a 2000 3500 both r diesel and same ratio and 4x4 i know there will b no tone ring for the abs but r the spring perches and u joint the same any ideas cant seem to find the parts i need to fix the original [ i need a spider gear kit but cant find 1 anywhere ] thanks in advance 4 any help

Both axles Dana units? If so, you should be able to find the spider parts at any good Dana supplier.
I cannot answer your interchangeability question, but I would doubt the possibility since '90 and '00 frames are very different.

thanks peg leg good dana suppliers seem to b hard to find in this area kit seems to b a discontinued item thanks 4 the frame info tho may save me a lot of driving parts r about 1.5 hour drive from here

Why not just get a new carrier? Alot less work than swapping axles. Or get your spiders here http://www.ringpinion.com/PartsList....fID=20&CatID=4

By the way that's a link for Dana 60 parts if you have a 70 or 80 I bet they have them or can get them. There's always the dealer too.

thanks 4 all the help guys the boss went to the dealer and ordered the parts $1200 thats what you get 4 tryin to help but try and get a raise
