I have a 1973 Duster that had the original 14" rally wheels. Can anyone provide guidance on the maximum wheel sizes to use when utilizing standard OEM shocks. I have been told not to use any more that a 6" wide wheel on the front due to clearance problems. Has anyone run a 15 x 7 or 15 x 8 on the back without any problems or should I stick with 6" all around?

and frankly the only way to order wheels is to do the dimensional check sheet available on the wheelvintique site. Thay have an online form, free, to print and fill out by measuring your cars critical dimensions.
I run 17X7's all around on my Demon, but I have a disc conversion up front, and an E body rear axle. This form will tell the wheel manufacturer everything they need to know to build the correct offsets. No interference at all with my Coys C5 wheels. |
