Default Car Battery

I am looking for a 6 volt battery for my 51 Doddge Coronet but everything I see on the classic car battery web pages is very expensive. Does anyone have a suggestion for a battery that does not cost an arm and a leg?

Also, say a prayer for the wounded soldiers and civilians at Fort Hood and a really big prayer for the families of those killed!

Thanks,

51D42

Optima made a 6 volt but i dont know if they still do or not,Been hearing that the Optima battery line is not as good as it used to be.You could check the RV/trailer places as RV/trailer owners like to use 2-6volt batteries because of the larger cells/capacity.

Nowadays I don't think there is such a thing as a cheap battery, prices have skyrocketed in recent years.

Autozone has a 6-volt industrial battery, my local price is $80 plus core. Their part number is "1-6VOLT".
