I have a 1968 440 stock flattops,no valve releifs.Deck height.045th down.Steel shim gaskets .019th, 915 heads 79cc not cut,2.08x1.74 stainless valves,ported,gasket matched.I will check valve clearance but have not bought cam yet.before I spent money thought I would get some advice,do you think I have enough clearance for this cam? Thank you for the help!

I don't know the answer to your question, but there is a real good way to learn what others have said on this subject. Go to the search engine located at the upper right of the screen and type in 509 cam. The number of previous responses may be overwhelming, but this board is becoming a great source for researching subjects such as yours. Good luck and welcome aboard!

You need to check,but it's likely that you do have enogh clearance.
