BFG T/As give no traction, nor do the BFG Drag radials.
Micky Thompson ET Streets are the way to go if you drive on the street too! I've tried them all! I use the 275-50/15s, which have a 10 inch tread width, which is a lot for the street! Sounds like you'll need a brake and brake system upgrade. Look into Wilwoods! Make sure you got a high quality drive shaft and U joints! Check out Summit for a good 5 point seat belt system. Hold on for dear life!! |

shim angle
Thanks! Might you happen to know how I can determine the proper shim angle for my new strange s60? I can tell it's off just by lokking at it but the shims are available in different degrees? Hate to get wrong stuff.
Thanks, Bill |

For my Cuda with the 8 and 3/4, i assume you mean pinion angle. As I understand it, when at rest, the angle of the pinion should be paralell to the angle of the transmission, before you put in the shims. To get proper traction, I put in 3 degree down angle shims, and that is a good place to start. Add a good adjustable pinion snubber, and you should be fine for the street as far as not having wheel hop. Not sure if I answered your question. Not too familiar with Dana 60's.
