Default 1986 Cherokee.

Last Mopar was a 64 Dart GT. I now own an 86 Jeep Cherokee, 2.5 auto transmission. Jeeps are all new to me. trying to Id tranny. Shifter has P-N-D-3-1/2. looks like 4 speed to me but I cant find anything in 86 with 4spd auto?? Help please.

What is the shape of the transmission pan? If it's a rectangle and the dipstick tube goes into it then it's the AISIN transmission.
