rolleyes2 Inner door rubber bumpers? Daytona

I have a 1988 Dodge Daytona, I am in need of the little rubber bumpers (as I call them), that are bolted to the inside of the door that keeps the window striaght when you shut the door.
These rubber bumpers are attached to metal brackets that are bolted to the inside of the inner door. Their are 2 per door. The car has power windows but the manual windows shoud be the same. I am not not sure what they are called.

I'll look, but I am pretty sure that I do not have them. You want a wrecked Shelby turbo car for parts?

Let me know if you have any and what condition they are in. The ones I have are old and dry rotting.
I already have a non wrecked 1988 Daytona Pacifica parts car, but I may be interested. How bad is it, what all is left, what type of interior and how much are you asking?

Don't they have felt on them so they won't scratch the glass? I should have 3 or 4 in good shape.

Cool

You know,.................I just thought about that just befor you left this post. I am used to asking questions on here because most of the time my local parts stores do or do not have the item. The last choice is to go to the local Chrysler dealer because the one here can only go back so far on their computers as far as parts are concerned, not to mention that if they do happen to have the item I am looking for it is way too expensive. But most of the time what I ask for is no longer produced. Plus I always forgoet to check Chrysler first. Thanks for the thought.

If I can think of it I'll gather up the ones I have in the morning before the weather turns nasty. It's supposed to drop from 70+ to 30

Ok let me know what you find and the condition, if it is not too much trouble. If not wait until I get back to you tonight while I check my local Chrysler dealer and see if they got them today.

As far as the temp dropping 70+ to 30, that sounds like Ky weather. Are you sure you are not liveing next door from me?LOL

Sorry,
I got busy today and forgot to get the bumpers. I was trying to get things done outside before the storm hits. It was 72 today, in the 30's and raining now and the temp is supposed to DROP tomorrow. Might be a couple of days before I get the parts. Oh yeah, we could get a couple of inches ice and 6 inches or more snow on top of the ice.
They say if you don't like MO weather just stick around for a couple of days, it will change.

content I found some NOS...........

Not a problem. I went to the Chrysler dealer today and they can still get them. I could not beleive it though. But sure enough they still have them available.
I am going to purchase them from Chrysler as I am going to be needing 8 of them. I at first only needed 4 but now that Chrysler has some left NOS I will get another set for my other car. I appoligize to you for any problems that this may have caused you, and I thank you for looking and searching for them.

As far as the weather is concerned their, you are not liveing next door to me.lol The temp is still in the high 60s to low 70s. Well as of now it is, of course you get the weather befor we do. It has been mist raining for the last couple of days though but still warm as of now.

To heck with the ice and 6 inches or more snow on top of the ice. Sounds like you are liveing in the winter wonderland already.
They say the same thing about the ky weather here,

Some of my kins family in CO says,

When we were their on vacation last, and it was true.

Again thanks for looking for the parts for me.

No problem to look for them. I had 2 old doors I had changed out on a couple of cars. New ones would likely be better as I'm sure the old ones have some of the fuzz worn off of them.

As far as the weather, It sleeted all day and we now have 2-3 inches of the stuff on the ground. It's so loose it is hard to walk through and a 4wd is almost a necessity to get around. Anyway, that's about over, it's SNOWING now!!!

I glad it was not a problem for you and I again thank you for looking.

As far as the weather is concerned all it did here was drop from around 72 to around 25 to 26. During this big drop in temp their was high winds. No snow no sleet. Just cold.
You must be in northern MO. to be getting all of the snow and sleet.

Actually, I'm in south central MO. About 80 miles north they got some ice and 15 inches of snow. So we got off lucky compared to them.

15 inches of snow! Santa would even say that is alot of snow. How cold is it their? Last night it got between 19 and 23. It was 19 on one end of town and 23 on the other. Last year it got to 9 above, which is not normal that often here.
