It represents the five product lines at the time it was created...Chrysler, Plymouth, DeSoto, Dodge, Dodge trucks.

Actually the question should have been:
What is the "pentastar" a symbol of.

Ted,
Sorry if it offends you that I've posted this question that it appears that you don't know the answer to either. Any older "MOPAR"
ex-worker worth a grain of salt could answer this question with their next breath. I've asked this same question of some of the executives that work on and around the "MOPAR" world, and they don"t know the answer either. Even my favorite driver D.A. din't know. It's a fairly simple deduction after you know what the answer is.
BB

Care to take a stab at the answer?

BillyBob,

It is obvious that no one knows the answer that YOU are looking for, so why don't you just post it already.

BillyBob,
I guess some of the guy's haven't been taking their PROZAC & are getting a little up tight!!!! So to ease their manic state I'll take 2 guess's.
1) Albert DODGE wanted something to look better than his brother Edwin PLYMOUTH's Heart with a tail??? (Take another lithium for the fellas who don't know about that either)

2)Where the 5 points meet in the middle is the center of the universe & that is where Albert wanted to be.

How's that Regis

All in good fun

how bout the Star of David, underneath which was considered the greatest place on earth at the time, Jerusalem. so the message would be that "wise men" should follow the "star" to the greatest cars on earth.
