Idea Anyone use D.U.I. ignition now or before?

I just ordered the 3 piece unit for the '74 Dart 360 and have read nothing but good about them (Davis Unified Ignition). I have had Jacobs Pro Street in the past as well as MSD 6A before but like the sound of less wiring under the hood...plus they are gonna "curve" the advance and vacuum advance to the Dart's specs. Found out today that the Dart, with me in it (210# ) weighs 3900# with a full tank...and my toolbox in the trunk...and my inflated fullsize spare...and my fire extinguisher...and... . So, guess the A/C is coming off sooner than later for a probable weight savings of 150# or so just for starters!

Anyway, who has a D.U.I. on any Mopar, big block or small block or even Slant???? 440cj

Do a quick search. Somone recently reported that it was a POS and sent it back for a refund.

Exclamation Well...

According to I believe Mopar Muscle's 360 cheap rebuild in a Challenger article they were duly impressed with it and they have used a lot of spark amplifiers in the past.

Yep, she's a heavy one about to go on a diet...however the weight balance is 52% front and 48% rear.

Ok fellas, fess up...gotta be SOMEONE or two or three that is using this unit in their Mopar! 440cj

Remember this, the magazine was paid my DUI, to do an article on the unit. Are they going to say it was crap? It could be that the other person just got a rare lemon, however as he sent it back and they could find no problems with it, so they shipped it back to him and it failed again, I would doubt that it was a rare lemon.
