Exclamation 06 Ram Tachometer?

anyone seen or heard any fixes for the tachometer dropping out or reading next to no rpm when running? i stop at interections and it reads about 200rpm and drivin down the road is around 800rpm, floor it and it jumps to 5000! other than that runs normal and no codes or check engine light.

It's probably the tachometer itself. GM has a horrible problem with all their gauges. They don't make things like they used to.

One thing you could do is to check the dealer for possible tsb's.
