Your Opinion
Our participation on this board is almost none. What do you think is wrong? Any ideas to restore life to Moparchat?

It has gotten very quiet... I keep checking in but like you say, not much action. I'm not sure what the answer is. I was at the World of Wheels in Winnipeg last weekend and it seemed like 60% of the cars were older Mopars (mostly muscle cars) so it's not like they've dropped off in popularity. Somehow this board doesn't seem to come up in the search engines like some of the others. Maybe part of the problem is the site provider? I really don't have any complaints about how the site works... compared to others I think it's a good format.

I certainly agree with your points there...
It's a friendly place, some very good people here to ask advice. I think there's been a lot of drift away to facebook, but that shouldn't really be costing this forum its life. |

I don't have any ideas either. As Ray said, a lot of nice people. And I would like to add that they are a lot of knowledgeable people. It has been wonderful that a problem would be posted and answers would happen quickly. Good answers. All I can hope is that no one is having problems, and all the cars are Hellcat fast.

A lot of people come here with one specific question, and once that's answered their gone. I have to say I did the same thing to an antique gun site... it's just a limited interest. I've noticed in a welding site that I hang out at, even with a lot of traffic the participation ebbs and flows with the amount of interest. I think what we need here is a new project going on. I was hoping it was going to be my speedster, but life keeps getting in the road. I've got a 28 Whippet frame and the flathead 6 and 4 speed out of a 54 Dodge truck, but I'm on the lookout for a cheap set of axles (front and rear... hopefully an 8 3/4)from an early 60's van or pickup now.

How are the other Mopar forums going?

The only other one I check from time to time is the P-15/D24 site and they've been slower than they used to be as well, but there are still new posts going up. The HAMB always seems to be busy, but it has connections to magazines as well... sort of a constant ad for it out there.

I think it the aging of muscle car owners and the switch to newer cars. lxforums for example is very busy
