Default has anyone put a hood scoop on their coronet

i just bought a 66-67 hemi super stock hood scoop from yearone for my 66 coronet and i was wondering if anyone has put this style of bolt on scoop on their 66-67 dodge or plymouth and how the did it. i'm looking for ideas on how to install it best and i'm worried about it rubbing on the paint where it can be seen???

Is there a flange on the bottom side of the scoop?
There is an article in last months Hotrod about how to install a hood scoop.

they said it does have a flange underneath, the scoop hasn't arrived yet.i hope that it does or it will be going right back, i've seen to many hood scoops molded on and then they crack. i don't want that. it must be show and go.
i saw the sox and martin 67 gtx and i like the way they did the install under the hood.

well,i should know more tomorrow, i highly recomend anyone else dosen't order a hood scoop from year one, its 4-8 weeks till you can get it and the just lose track of mentioning the fact that it will take that long. forget that! so if anyone is looking for max wedge or race hemi hood scoops 62-68 get in touch with kramer automoative, they have everything for mounting and they are great to deal with.

I'm going to put a 68' HEMI Dart scoop on my Bee. It took like 12 weeks from VFN fiberglass after ther quoted me 8 weeks then the first one they sent me was broken! Not only that, they tried to cherge me full pop for the shipping on the second one. Needless to say, I was pissed!
