Shifter mechanism question
I removed the Hurst shifter mechanism that was in my 69 Super Bee. I had trouble shifting and replaced all parts external to the transmission.
I was told the shift mechanism I removed (part number on the reverse linkage is 7180) is not correct for a 69 B body, and is actually correct for an E body. Can anyone help me verify what model this shifter originally belonged to? Thanks in advance for the help, |

The 7180 was used on '70-'74 E Body and '71-up B Body.
