There were some on Friday night SAt. morning too. All I got was rain and thunder and lightning. THe bad stuff hit further north of us from what I could tell on the 10 pm news before I went to bed. There were some deaths reported, but I have not heard how many.

Cry Big Wind!

On Sunday, there was some damage to Duck River Speedway. The wind damaged some power lines and blew the roof of the men's room off.

That part of NW Tennessee and SW Kentucky is a real "tornado alley". Seen them blow through there before. That is a scarry sight!

You got that right. I'd rather take my chances getting caught in the bushes near the pits than risk catching something in there.

There were several fatalities up in Gallatin, TN. Murfreesboro had a lot of wind damage. Fortunately for us in Shelbyville, we had only minor wind damage and some water damage.

We had water blow under the door of my paper warehouse, lost a couple of rolls----but that is minor to other peoples problems.

It was strange last night. At our house there was absolutely no wind, very little rain---yet two miles away it was raining horizontally with great force. Great bolts of lightening went across the sky, loud thunder. One of my Bassetts was terrified, howling and hiding. His brother was laying on the floor---snoring. We were sitting in the dark---wondering what was going to happen next!

Rained real bad in my area. I was heaind west on I 24 and just past the Franklin exit it almost blew me off the road. IT wiped out a Nisan dealership in Galatin and killed 9 there and 3 more in McMinville which is south east of us. Galatan is NW of us. Seems like it went around us on both sides again, but it got a lot closer.
