Help Flexplate Help

I think I may have bent my flexplate while removing the weights today (friggin' spaz). Does anyone know if this flexplate will definately fit?

It says all torqueflite trannys w/6-bolt circle....My 408 is on the engine stand w/ the cherry picker rigged up waiting to put it in.

Question

Is it a magnum based combo? Meaning does the crankshaft poss. sensor need to have the pickups on the flex plate? I know on my 97 dak with 5.2 and 5 speed, the flywheel has the pickups on it. So if it does have pickups on the factory flexplate, looks like your gonna have to be looking for a flexplate from a 318 magnum (since your internally balanced now). Hope this helps.

Yes, it is magnum based 360/46RE. Totally forgot about the pickup for the CPS....shit.
Do the pickups look like a weight, or does the CPS read the square holes in the lip of the flexplate?

I talked with Dave @ Hughes Engines who also reccomended the 318 plate. The CPS reads the 'windows' in the flexplate which do not exist in the TCI unit.

Your going to have to buy a Flexplate from a 1995 5.2. These were internally balanced flexplates and they have the proper timing pick ups for the crank sensor. We got ours from southeastrt.com and it was pretty cheap, bolted right on.
