Default 2500 Rims on a 3500

I'm in the process o creating a Rat Rod out of a '95 3500. I'm thinking of using 2500 wheels on the front to accomodate the full moon hub caps. Anyone know of any problems doing this? Also where do I find one piece wheels to fit street slicks on the rear using a single rims, doing away with the duals? And, are there any lowering kits for the front of the 3500 or is cutting the springs or having new springs wound the only course of action?
Thanks,
Luke
