Thumbs up

I went there with my automotive club weeks after it was first opened and I must say I was impressed beyond words. As you walk in there is this rotating spire with places for four cars. On it was the Viper concept, One of the Chrysler Turbines, and an airflow. To the right is an area where some of the very first develpments that Chrysler made are on display, as well as many other histroical items and infromation including lots of information on WPC himself. Up stairs featured lots of the turn in Chrysler during the early 80's. K cars and mini vans etc. An Egale Concept designed by lamborgini(sp?) Save yourself for whats in the basement! A prowler here, a viper there, 70 hurst 300, 69 Charger 500, another trubine, 69 Daytona and many more!!! Well worth the trip to detroit.

Arthur

They did have a display of that power house of American Muscle the WW II hemi motor, but I saw no sign of the other two. However, the basment display is supposed to be on a rotating schedule, so there seems that there would be a good chance that some of the more rare and interesting Chrysler history will be on display at some time. Who knows what lurks in the stock holds of Ma Mopar?
