Check out DAS at 1-800-726-2693......I believe its about $1500-$2000 from California, so you can imagine how much from back east.
What are you looking for? Im always looking in the local rags for whats available in Mopars and AMXs. Im out here in BC.

shipping

I bought my Demon from Arizona
I live in Ohio near Cleveland and it cost $800. to ship it to me.
Saved me a lot of time and trouble.
To me it was worth every penny.

I'm looking for an A-body would love a 70-73 340 Duster, numbers matching doesn't matter or even if its a clone car. Would also consider any 68-73 A-body. Has to be driveable though.

76Duster,
I am in Saskatchewan and I have a 72 Dart I was planning to advertise in the spring. Car is in excellent condition and has always had the best of everything. Some details are:
- 69' 340 (approx 350 HP)
- 727 w/3400 stall and manual valve body
- 8.75 w/4.30's (have other center sections available- 3.55, 3.91, 4.11)
Car is a great street machine and I have had it to SIR where it ran a best of 13.11. I am selling due to lack of time to enjoy and because I want to concentrate on my other car (race only).
I am the third owner and have owned it for 5 years and I bought it from a friend who had owned it for 10 years. E-mail me at mjdean@accesscomm.ca and I will give you the full details.

Also, in regards to shipping a car. The price really jumps when it comes across the border. If you can get it shipped to a point just south of the border where you can pick it up and bring it across yourself, it is much cheaper. From LA to Bismarck, SD by truck was $950.00 about three years ago. To get it across the border, be sure to have all your paperwork in order and it is easy.

Hope this helps.

It cost me $700 to move a Valiant from northern Penn to Fort Worth on a open hauler. The estimates were within a couple hundred dollars, except enclosed haulers were substantially higher.

Your not going to find many carriers that will ship across the border. The ones that you do find are going to be expensive. The shipper must have a customs department as they are responsible for any problems that may arise at the border.

Maybe have one shipper get it to just South of the Pimbina, ND border station. Then you get it across the border. either trailer it yourself, from there or have a another shipper waiting on the other side, and just get the car across, yourself.

If it's feasible, you might consider flying there/ driving back. I flew about 1,200 miles to pick up a car once, and the drive back was a good way to get to know more about the car than I ever wanted to know! Also lets you make sure the car is as represented and all that before purchase and shipping charges are incurred. I'd sure be checking on AAA road service as well as insurance though.

I flew to Winnipeg, to get my '69 Coronet 500 Convertible and drove her back to VA. I had my AAA card in my wallet and a cell phone in hand. It was a fun drive, over a 3 day weekend. The first half of the drive was great top down Summer weather. The last half was rain. As she only has the factory AM radio, I listened to the engine drone, for the entire drive.
