I wanted to replace the factory rag joint with something better. I got a Flaming River steering coupler for the job 3/4 smooth to 5/8 36 spline part number
FR1914. They don't seam to line up and when I micked it the shaft seamed bigger than the coupler. Am I missing something? What fits a chrysler steering box. my 75 Cordoba and 84 Diplomat are the same boxes. |

Does your steering box a indexing spline? Yes!!!
You will need to file out one spline for a indexing spline. Check it out. Last edited by 4u racer : 05-10-2010 at 08:42 PM. |

I get mine from speedway motors, .620-36 is what it is. Works every time, I have bought three of them this year.
