Default FYI 452 heads cc

Just got my 452 heads back from the hot tank and for grins thought I would cc them before I do the port, polish,.60 mill and4 angel valve job.
Using the old valves they cc'd 94, 92, 93 and 92 one head/ 92,92,91 and 90 one the other

Like I said, heads were clean, used the old valves and they were in bad shape (set low down).
These heads had lots of miles and need a valve job. My book says 452 heads @ 81.5 cc, I will post the after cc's once the head work is completed.
THere could have been a +/- 5cc total on the heads due to the valves, but there was a total difference in the chambers.

Cylinder to cylinder variations can be surprisingly dramatic.

When I was measuring my 400, to deck it down, the closest cylinder came to within .100" of the deck. The furthest was .130"!!

The chambers in a 452 can range anywhere from 88cc to 96cc. Normally there is no more than a max of 3cc difference between chamber volume, on any one head.
