rebuilt or used tranny?
Well, it definitely seems I need to get the tranny repaired. It's a 3 speed automatic for my 1980 /6 Aspen. Do you think I should get it fixed or buy one that's been rebuilt? What do you think is more convenient considering cost and reliability?
Any parts store or shop you would recommend in the Laredo area?, 'cause I haven't had any time to check around and my buddies roll their eyes up everytime I ask them. I'll appreciate any info. |

I'd just get a shop to rebuild it. Should not cost you too much. They are pretty cheap to rebuild.

If you're looking to save some cash, pull the thing yourself and just drop it off, from the last 904 I had rebuilt it was less than half the cost to give them the tranny.. don't forget the shift kit while its out, you will be happy you did. At least I am.
