No start condition
More fun from my duster this morning! when i tried to start it, nothing, no tick no click no nothing. battery is fully charged, all connections are good, and all lights, radio, gauges work fine. The starter is drawing power when i try to start the car, but nothing happens. I have not been having any problems starting it lately, but is this 'typical' of what happens when a starter goes bad? Also before spending the $$ on a new starter is there anything else i can check that could be causing this?

Take a broomstick and poke the solenoid and connections while someone turns the key.

Check to see if the starter relay has a good ground. the part on the inner fender with the cable running to the starter.

thanks for the responses guys, it turns out it wasnt the starter at all. I forget what the name of the part is, (it prevents starting in drive or reverse), for some reason it wont let me start in park either, but fired right up in neutral.
