Default Aluminum Intake

Just picked up an Aluminum Slant 6 2 barrel intake from an old junkyard. It's probably a later one since it has the EGR setup on it but I can't cross the number. The number is 4104577.
Can anyone help

Probably a late 70's "Super Six" intake. The iron 2bbl intakes are better quality than the old aluminum pieces.

clean it then paint it with MANY coats of engine paint, if you're using it.

All of the 2bbls have EGRs. There wasn't any "old" ones. They leak on the electro welded seams. Sometimes burn through or crack on the bottom of the plenum.

The M-1? Or a factory intake? If I could find them in the junkyard it would be sweet! What years?

Confused

If you ever see an M-1 next to an original Super Six intake you will see that there is no way the M-1 flows the claimed 20% better than a stocker too.

I have 1 iron, 1 cast/welded, and 1 M-1. Just the M-1 is mounted on a motor!
