How are you're ground wires?

´79 Aspen. I´ve checked grounds all along the wiring. There´s no modifications to the original system. And narrowed the space between tips in the relay and it worked again. But i don´t trust it will function properly for long. I think a new relay could solve the prob. for good.
Thanks for the advice bro! |

I'd wire in a bosh relay from a newer car.
