Default fuel pump??? alum block??

does anyone know where i can buy a hi volumn fuel pump for a slant six we are running a stock one and we are running out of fuel at hte end of the straightaways and we are interested in an aluminum block if anybody knows of any thankx

What fuel pump are you running now. Carter offers several different pumps all for the /6 but flow rates vary from 20gph to 30gph. Their pump M4844 looks like it would be the performance one, but doesn't list the flow rate. M60322 is the 30 gph one.

I just sent you an e-mail about the car. I'm proud I remembered you were in the Dakota's :-)

I love the '62 Valiant. So different. And I'm a big fan of the /6. It was my project engine in auto shop class back in the mid-70's. I discovered that if you put a 170 crank in a 225 you wind up with a very lethargic engine!
