Help Late Model Head

I have a 225 out of a 1968 Valiant and was hoping to fit a later head with the revised combustion chamber and no spark plug tubes.
I am sure that it is possible but what would I need to replace as well?
Rocker gear, push rods, would I have to use hydraulic lifters and cam?
I have searched various sites but haven't seen a straight up answer, many speculate but apparently few have done this.
Thank you for any help and info.
