I was looking at this site (thanks to RAM MAN for the link) and came across this SLANT SIX d-100 that claims to run a 13.65 in the quarter mile...

I'm inpressed! I own a 84 with, previous /-6 w/ a833, the truck tipped the scales at 4000 lbs on the money. mine stock ran 16's. But a few months ago, I saw a article in a mag. that showed a /-6 auto combo rail car pulling 9's w/o nitros.
