Exclamation ?super -maybe!

Hey there JG,as a owner of many /6s i have never had a super six with as much topend as a 1bbl. I had a 75 /6 1bbl that was clocked by a friends ex cop car at 115 mph. I tried the same thing with a stripped down super 6 79 aspen, best was 110 mph. the old 75 1bbl would pull away from a 1/4 ton nissan with the double spark 4 cyl hemi at 110mph,and 80 305 4bbl malibus were no problem

Wink really driveable!

it seems that you can have a sl6 in need of much or many repairs, and will still be driveable and very much enjoyable. my 74 /6 duster has only 5 fuses, std steering, std brakes, and the foot pump washer bottle on the floor. talk about low maintenance,1 winters driving,9000 miles ,37 dollars in expenses, 26 mpg, great cold starts, and a great heater. what more could you ask for.

Post Need one of these in here!

Mine is a 63, 330 Dodge 2dr. 225ci. w/ push button auto.
it runs but has a major oil leak and Reverse is out of the
trans. It's all org. except for the seats, I guess the First
owner didn't want to set next to his Wife? Its a ca. car
and the ownly rust I have found is a little in the trunk.
It's # 3 on my list of projects to finnish. #1 should be
done next week.

Mine is in my newly acquired '67 valiant 2dr hard top. But I doubt it will reside there for long. Anyone need an extra /6?

Slant 6

Owned two cars with the slant six

1. 1972 Dodge Challenger

2. 1970 Plymouth Duster

Loved'em both....... couldn't kill'em

Both were totaled by GM drivers.. go figure
