Smile What did NOT come with an SL6??

I (like most) have A-body SL6 cars (8 currently) but also have B&E Body ones, the coolest is our 70 Challenger RT convert will all the goodies, right down to the pistol grip 4 speed, no one "messes" with it when you're driving around town but little do they know, it's a SL6!

don't know iif it's a D series or not but it's a '63 short narrow 1/2t that has the industrial (yellow- 258(?)ci) motor &, granny 4 speed, truck was sold new in eastern Colo and originally had 16" tires & wheels and 3.88 rear gears. the only changes are paint, '70s Dodge 15" wheels and a 3.08 posi from an '80 Ramcharger to get it highway driveable. took it from central Mo to Snowmass Colo and returned via Cheyenne, Wyo in 1998.

I like those mini trucks I've owned two of them. How well did that six fit in there?

Sorry didn't mean to change the subject, I've also owned a 74 duster with a slant 6 and now own a 74 Scamp with slant 6.

Mine is a rust free original '74 Dodge Dart Custom 4 dr. complete with factory paint, vinyl, and int. Needs plenty of TLC, but still looks good from 15 feet. Just rolled 129k.

Default My rides ...

Hi all!!!

I´m from Buenos Aires Argentina (South America) and I have 3 slant six ..
One of them is in my garage ... and the other two are in a 1974 Dodge Polara R/T (2 bbl intake with Holley 2300 carb.) and the other one in a 1980 Dodge Coronado Automatic (1 bbl intake with Holley 1922 carb).

I'll post pictures of them asap so you can know the argentinean made Mopars!!! They are all "A" body ... they are really nice ..

Mine's in a '66 Dart 270 2dr post. 3sp auto on the column, bored .060 over, Racer Brown cam, Offy 4bbl intake, Clifford headers.

Just moved from a 2 car garage to a house with no-car garage, so I'm waiting on that before I can get started again.

Default 17may2005... Purchased Today!!!

Just picked it up today, less than 24 hours after finding it on Craigslist in Los Angeles...
First caller... I nailed it...
1968 Dodge Dart 270 Hardtop Coupe. No joke; it was Granny's... Unfortunately she did not give up driving, before her eyesight was shot. Has sat for ten years under cover, in an airplane hangar in the San Fernando Valley
Original everything! Still has the warranty tag (paper) on the doorjamb.
Have been looking for years for the right one, at the right price. I'm stoked.
As I said; granny really liked to use the garage door as a guide to get in and out, so it will need new fenders, doors skins, and quarters.... later. No problem cruising in it now, though. Black over Red. sweeeeeeeeeeeet.......
Always wanted the V-8, but after hearing, and driving it, I seriously doubt that will occur. This car reminds me of "Dragnet"; where is Joe Friday. The most important on the to-do list is brakes & front suspension (tired). This is going to be a great trip. A lot of peeps wanted this one; hell, a guy in Detroit wanted to get, but was just minutes late. The seller really was cool in keeping me at the head of the pack; major props.
Gotta go... time for bed... might sleep in the damn thing tonight.

My 'Slant-Six' is in my 1960 Plymouth Savoy, bought brand new by my Dad on June 13, 1960. I'd show you photos of it, or put in a 'Link' to my Website, but I have to post another 23 times before I can do that. If you want though, you can get to my Website by typing in benscarpage.com in the Address Bar on your Browser Window, hit enter, and then you can see my Plymouth, and it's 'Slant-Six.'
