I live right inbetween 2 navy bases and 1 airforce base that are flight training squadrons. Guess what all the lil flyboys have? You got it Ratstangs and Camaros.....So I love to race em when I feel froggy on the weekends I have a 73 Plymouth Scamp Heavily modified but its fairly quiet becuase of the super exhaust I have on it. I like to creep up on em and then make my noise! Heres a list of my mods....the poor guys never had a chance I ran on 1/4 mile once just for time trials. But that was right after the car was built so I dont really remember besides e/t dont matter to me on the street.I have 12.5:1 compression and 615Hp outta a mid 70's small block grocery getter.....Oh yeah did I mention it was quiet. LOL

WOW!! 615 hp in a street machine?!! I'm thinking that would put you into the low-low 11's. Is traction a problem on the street?
I know some guys around here with turbocharged and NOS-fed imports that think they're fast and need a serious whooping on. They have a really cocky attitude about their little high-winding four-bangers being ablt to beat up on the "big V-8's". I don't have anything right now that can do it, maybe you could come up to Minot ND and open up a big can of whoop @ss!!!! Something that is quiet and extremely fast would fit the bill just right! Lighten up on them. Most of them grew up in the late nineties or later, and look what they had to see on the road every day. I graduated high school in 93, and it was extremely odd for a kid my age to be a mopar nut. But I still like the mustang GT's and 5.0 LX's, I even have an 86 GT convertible with a cobra/explorer engine in it. If you grew up in the time I did or just after, mopar was not even a contention, unless you liked omnis, new yorkers, and shadows. Ford and GMC were the only ones even making a real effort at the musclecar world in that time. I still prefer Mopars, but if I buy anything after the mid seventies, theres not much chance it will be mopar (but it will never be chevy!).
