Default raced a z28

Got in a race with a 95 era lt1 z28 camaro he. It all started on hwy 65 when we see a camaro rolling up along side. we were in the right lane him in left. so we get behind him at a stop light. we were in traiffic. Then he finally gets room to get be the cars in the right lane so he punches it so we take of after him. letting off tring not to go in his bumper. then he gets in the right lane he is about 2 cars ahead of us at this time. So I floor it with the nitrous on we went flying by him pulled about 5 cars total from 60 to 110 on him considering we had to catch up to him. . I just waved bye as I was flying by him and his girlfreind.

This was with my 4 door 75valiant that I have posted on hear before.\

here is a pic of my car it has a 360ci.

the look on his face was like uh! looking over is left shoulder. he did give me the peace sign when he went by us after we let off. He was 100 or so for about 3/4 of mile after we stoped racing.

It is a 360 bored .030 over
Ported Iron heads with 2.02 valves
xe274 cam .488/.491
keith black 107s 9.7:1
eagle rods
rpm air gap intake
750 holley
100shot of nitrous works real well with the mallory digital retard box
727 trans 2800stall
8 3/4 rear 3.23 gears
It now has turbo mufflers instead of the glass pack style mufflers it had on it before. So know it is quiet when cruising
It did 276rwhp on the motor with the old weiand action plus intake.

I had it car craft on friday.

I ' am planning on building a 408 for it when I go Engine machinist school this fall It will be over the course of the whole time I'am at school. It will be hopefully 470 to 500hp on the motor than nitrous. I want it to lay 450 to 500hp to the wheels on the nitrous in a couple of years.

I don't see why you couldn't as long as you keep the compression in 8.5 range and mopar does make 4.00 stroker crank for the magnums.
I was planning on using ported edelbrocks and a big solid cam in the .550 lift range.

Well, if either of you decide to go with a set of ported, polished Magnums, I have a set of those on the bench right now being started on. All teh heat risers in teh chamber are smoothed off, which will let you run a little more compression or at least insure against ping . Let me know. :-)PCRMike
