It took $ 3500 in Miata engine upgrades to beat a basically stock 318
Last summer my friend from work bought a 92 Miata.
He thought it was fast untill I smoked him with my 72 Satellite Sebring 318 auto with 4 bbl and dual exhaust. He recently invested $ 3500.00 in his engine . Well he beat me by about 1 1/2 car lenght for a 0 to 60 mph blast. Can you imagine what $ 3500.00 can do for Small Block Mopar. Fred.. |

Right $ 3500.00 would buy me a 440
If I did the work myself it would buy me a 440 intake cam and headers. 400 + hp for $ 3500.00 Not a bad idea |

Go for it!
Your car is old enough to be a classic down here in the States which means no emmission testing so you can even put a 528c.i. Crate Hemi (610 HP) in it. But it would be a lot more expensive than a 440. Sounds like whatever you do, you will have a real nice car. |
