Cool Dodge Ram and Cops

I don't know if you'd consider this a street race, but here it goes...

After the first day of the 2003 NATS, my dad and I went to watch cars cruise down Brice Road. My dad has an '84 Dodge Ram with a mildly built 360. Anyway, we wanted to cruise up and down the road a few times, but those of you that were there know how bad the traffic was. When we were leaving, someone poured water in front of us, but were going to fast to stop in time. By this time, luckly, my dad was just itching to fry some rubber. So, he turned around and went back down. We pulled onto the water and let loose!!!! When we were pulling away, what did we see sitting in the middle of the road, but two of Reynoldsburg's finest. Before I knew what happend, we were going down a bunch of side streets. We were out of there so fast, I don't even know if the cops saw us!! We made it out without getting caught.
Now keep in mind, I'm only 14. When I get to drive, there will be better stories. My 400 is way more powerful than the 360. What I really can't wait for, is when we get my dad's '70 440+6 GTX 4-speed painted. We'll repave Brice Road with rubber!!!

Don't forget, they don't have to catch you then. They can always get you later if they get your plates on camera.

I don't even think they saw us, because they didn't even turn their lights on. The reason we shot up a bunch of side streets is because we wanted to get out of there before they saw us. They must have been sleeping or something because we were about 10-20 yards away from them. The burnout was have been worth a ticket though.

Sometimes it depends on the cop. Some are pretty cool about it, but alot of them can be real dicks about it. I got away with a burn out in my Roadrunner from a light with a cop in the lane next to me. All he did was get behind me for about a block, then hopped into the other lane and went on. I also got lucky with a warning for doing 60mph in a 35mph zone. It all comes down to the individual.
