Got the Ol' ladys duster out today

After two and a half years of rebuilding this duster for my wife she is finally on the road. I buckled up my the kids and handed her the keys. It was fun even though i was riding shot gun looking at the expressions on peoples faces when they saw a girl driving this thing. It was neat watching her drive, The quickest thing she ever drove is our Astro van with a V-6. She would take off and the back tires would bark and give me the big eyed look "did I do that". Well The 318 is close to stock and the 360 will be out of the machine shop next week, and my desk top dyno says it will put out a bit over 400 horse my guess is around 380horse. My goal is to be married to the quickest soccer mom in the area

Your post reminds me of a friends wife who would sometimes drive his 440 duster. (this was in the late '70') This car ran 10.90's at the track. She would embarass guys with their GTO's & Chevelle's who thought they had hot rides. When they caught up with her at the next traffic light they wanted to know what she had under the hood . Her answer was "its only a 340" She might have been the quickest soccer mom, but the term "soccer mom" haden't been invented yet.
