Gripe Sniff Sniff

well the General raced his first race today :-( it was with a 350hp camaro 99ish ,the General has an est 450hp } well by the time my tires stoped spinning he was a car in front i was catching up but we ran out of room , i cant fit any bigger tires under my rear , what can i do i cant go loosing runs in the General Lee , there will be a rematch on better ground next time { we were on a crappy parking lot }

The same thing they did in the show to keep the nose from diving during a jump. Pore Concrete in the trunk.

Rear sway bar so it wont drop on the RR and loose leverage and unload that wheel for one. Get at least 53% rear weight, even if it takes ballast to do it. SS springs and an adjustable pinion snubber will do a lot for it. Remove all the clamps from the rear segment of the leaf springs. Get some good adjustable race shocks all the way around. Some E/T dot cheater slicks will do wanders for it too, but they were out pretty quick.

well i will go shopping , cuz i wont lose to tire spin again . on a good note my Gtec recorded 477hp :-) all i need to do is keep it on the ground lol

While your shopping, pick up a set of Hoosier Quick time Pro's, about $350 or so, and also get some shims to adjust the pinion angle, set it for around 3-6 degrees nose down.
Get an adjustable pinion snubber and adjust your pinion snubber so it is touching the body if you have an automatic.
If you dont have a high stall converter, get one, like a 3000 or so, since these mods will cause you to bog from the load.
