Another Acclaim...

Rockmonton's story reminds me of the time when I had my 89 Turbo Acclaim (looked like a base model) that a bud of mine pulled up next to in a little 89 Caddy Eldorado v-8. The two were about the same size, and I had the whole crew with me and I beat his butt in a stoplight drag over 3 blocks by a half car. At the next light, repeat exercise. fender at 1-2 shift, rear of front door at 2-3 and hold. We get to the same restaurant and heasked if it was a "6 or an 8". He didn't know cars. I showed him it was a four, and he about cried. I ragged him for years over that. :-) PCRMike
